Im looking to get a botnet and I see a lot of topics on IRC botnet's and HTTP. If you ever used a HTTP or a IRC botnet is there any pros and cons on them? Thanks for helping me! 🤝
HTTP botnet vs IRC botnet? |

Http is the current standard, ideally, you want a peer to peer or blockchain based one, these are very rare and difficult to develop compared to HTTP though
Don't even touch IRC, unless you encrypt every command and run the server privatly I guess, either way, decentralized is the way to go if you're truly serious about botnets
I wasn't advertising discord I was letting people know where they can contact me, dick

HTTP is the way to go nowadays. Maintaining IRC bots and getting a reliable source is really a trouble.
HTTP Botnets are the way to go as the people above me say. IRC Botnets are good too but it's hard to get reliable sources and it takes time to configure one properly..
IRC is good for a few things that you want done at the same time and instantly. If you use SSL and encrypted commands it would be better but IRC traffic is hard to hide on a network.

I'd go with IRC depending on your needs, IRC botnets are relatively easy to setup. Provided you're wanting it for obvious reasons go with IRC. For "Monetization" your best bet would be an HTTP botnet. I'd recommend one that can be used for "herding", if I recall right just sit on some bots, and then drop cryptominers on the PC's that are linked to some really good pools. I'd recommend starting with upcoming altcoins speculated to "take off", and throw them into a crypto portfolio, so when they do skyrocket you've got coins out the ass.

irc botnet is useless with a private irc server anyways, you could be running http with that private server
if you can't even code a basic node js C2 you don't deserve a botnet (Mar 16, 2019 10:31 PM)makmak Wrote: HTTP all the way , IRC obtian and also in alot of ways they come pretty usles.. thats because kids like pictures and colorful panels.
