Changing website timer countdown

I know nothing about code...

I'm taking a course online that I've taken before and it takes about 50+ hours to complete. There is a minimum amount of time that must be spent on the course so each module has a countdown timer that has to expire before you can take the test for each module. I end up with 40 to 70 minutes to spare on each module and I am going to fucking lose it.

I've tried to use the "view source" window in Chrome to change the timer values but the overall time still needs to run out even when I have the timer counting down from 5 seconds...

This may be a stupid thing to ask for help with but this course is a fucking time vampire and I would rather quit my job.

Thanks,
It’s probably serverside with a JavaScript front.

Aka when you start it inserts curtime+360 (5 minutes) as the end time. The countdown that it shows counts down to the inserted time. Even if you change it on the front, the server still knows when it expires.
if its on the server there wouldn't be any way to change it? I also think they use cookies if that would have anyting to do with it.

@Charger, you can tell me to take a hike but does this help with anything?

window.baseUrl = '/Courses/ajax/SCORMService.asmx/';

window.getScormLastViewed = window.baseUrl + 'GetSCORMLastViewed';
window.setScormSlide = window.baseUrl + 'SetSCORMSlide';
window.setCompletionStatus = window.baseUrl + 'SetCompletionStatus';
window.getCompletionStatus = window.baseUrl + 'GetCompletionStatus';
window.heartbeatScormSlide = window.baseUrl + 'HeartbeatSCORMSlide';
window.closeScormSlide = window.baseUrl + 'CloseSCORMSlide';
window.finalize = window.baseUrl + 'FinalizeSlides';
window.getTimeRemaining = window.baseUrl + 'GetTimeRemaining';
You can TRY to set the time. Inspect the HTTP request .
