Hey I'm looking for anime recommendations that are bloody and violent that have aired in the last 1-4 years. I've been wanting to relax and watch anime but I've been out of the loop for like 4 years now. What do you guys recommend?

Hm, off the top of my head within the last 4 years most likely Parasyte, Drifters, newer adaptations of Berserk (however due to the poorly done CGI as well as skipping several arcs I don't recommend this one but I am mentioning it in case you decide to look into it), Corpse Party, Shingeki no Kyojin S2, Koutetsujou no Kabaneri (pretty much WIT Studio's "in between" anime for S1 & S2 of shingeki no kyojin), Youjo Senki (haven't seen it myself, I do know it is violent but I am not sure about the gore material), Ajin (this is another heavy CGI anime so be wary if the art style isn't favorable), Terra Formars (plot terrible, however pretty gorey), Gangsta (mafia anime, also on my PTW but should be a decent bit of both gore and plot), Death Parade (has some gore, but mostly a psychological thriller with interesting plot line), latest additions to the Fate/Stay series, Tokyo Ghoul (doesn't adapt the manga too well, however is gorey), Akame ga Kill, and Pupa (if you don't mind the big incest plot line and an overall terrible story).

Not sure when Corpse Party aired but that's probs the most Gore i've seen in an anime.
