Hey folks, does someone have an idea of why's this happening?, this started a week ago, I was using my PC and it suddenly turned off, it has been happening since then, it shuts down every 20 or 30 minutes, sometimes it lasts longer but it's very rare.
I'd appreciate any kind of help!

If it is temps, I ran into a temp problem recently, and used hwinfo64 ( https://www.hwinfo.com/download.php ). Good luck!

Thanks for the info! I'll try that site.
could be so many different things, could be cpu temp like others said which can be caused from a silent miner, could be a rat or botnet. but i'd scan with malwarebytes and hitman pro while waiting for other more knowledgeable members in this section to answer. good luck :) also post some more info on what you would be doing when this happens.

I'll try that, and today it happened three times, all of them were when I was trying to open chrome, but sometimes it just happens like I'm writing a post on HF and it turns off randomly.

Could most likely be overheated,
My old laptop used to do this once it got overheated, even my iPad does this when I play games to long.

To much CPU usage in that case.

Maybe, my PC is really old, I bought it like 7 years ago so maybe it's just failing because it has been used too much

Clear your startup programs and restart your computer.

I mean I've never had the problem that the PC turns of on my desktop PC.
But if you're using a laptop then I understand, that used to happen to me a lot.
My iPad does the same, as soon as it's "working to hard" it shuts down the app.
2010 that's a while yeah. Maybe time for a new PC buddy haha :)

I will man, don't doubt it! You sound like a really nice person to talk with.
It's not necessarily a great idea to get a whole new PC just because of a problem like this. There are some possibilities:
- Computer getting overheated (like others said): Check all of the fans (CPU, GPU, Power source, etc.). Clean them if they are dirty (use compressed air cans, NOT a vacuum or anything like that), apply thermal paste to the CPU and check your room temperature (though it probably isn't high enough to cause anything giving summer's gone in most parts of the world).
- Power source is acting up; maybe it's not distributing enough power to all of the components anymore.
- Try updating your drivers & disabling virtualization (Vt-d) settings in your BIOS.
So basically just find out what causing the problem and replace that component. Or it could just not be the hardware's fault.

I have had this issue once with my old desktop. It turned out to be the video card malfunctioning. Did you check that already? Could you see any relevant logs in Windows-event logs just before the system crashed?
