The question is in the title. I had some friends ask me. Personally I think I would pick half full since it just rolls off my tongue better. I don't know if this can be passed as a reason but what are your guys thoughts?

Your reasoning is flawed. There is no difference in size when you are talking about the volume. It’s more of whether you’re an optimistic or pessimistic person.

Just depends... is it being filled up or poured out? 😎

I tend be a half empty type of person.
I gotta go with Half Full since there is no implication for it being poured out.
I'm a half full type of person, but at the same time I am a realist so always plan for worse case scenario.
Usually a half full guy.
Won the lottery and I'm just glad I wake up in my shoes every day.

My cup is full of balance, it fills up as it pleases as it empties.
I can't afford a cup unfortunately.

The possibilities I see...
1. Half full
2. Half empty
3. Completely full because of air and/or other
4. Completely empty, the water being an hallucination, mirage, etc
5. Less than half full, some of the water being an hallucination, etc
6. More than half full, some of the water being unseen due to hallucination, etc
7. Everything non-existing

Why buy 1 when you are gifted with 1.
Most of the time I'm half full, but every now and then I'm half empty

Get rid of the air and create your own space, you will be shielded with open activity.
Growth is around the corner.
