I know it hasn't been 24 hours but who adds someone to there ignore this before they send money?

Sorry to hear this Jixter. Being added to their ignore list is a clear sign of a scam. Since you sent the money via PayPal, you still have the possibility of getting it back. There are many members that can offer advice in that regard.
