I would be surprised if any of the current groups are able to make any real cash from selling memberships. Nex and Astonish kind of ran that niche into the ground.

I think the group scene suffers from a lack of creativity and drive at the moment from the leaders, and that's the key issue at the moment, but my two cents aren't always correct.

Thanks for your input. Groups at the current are just copy cats. Skill is a stand alone and there's honestly no room for another group with gaming as it's main focus. They're more than welcome to do so, but like you said it's a lack of creativity at this point.

Skill in its current iteration is a revival of an old group by the same name, and there have been gaming groups for as long as HF has had a group scene. The only recent groups that come to mind in terms of being completely unique in their concept is Torque and Baka!. Whilst I was never a part of either (and have no interest in either the finer points of cars or anime), they both had cult followings that truly enjoyed their group, and that's something that HF could use more of.

That said, I doubt it'll be long before people who are currently/have just sold buyins come flying across trying to peddle their group and swindle their customers who have bought in.

I'd be willing to sell Skill at this price obviously, but I wish you luck in finding whatever you're looking for here. If you do acquire a group, hopefully we see a new direction brought to the HF group scene.

Great idea, I like the effort you put behind your words. You truly are pursuing your own ideals and it is indeed quite commendable.

I hope you buy a group from a decent person and that the new group becomes an great part of HF community.
