My bro has been egging me on to start a Youtube channel since I have the capability to. He always talks about making money off of Youtube. Which I know is very well possible, but its not just as easy as posting a click bait video that a million people will watch and gaining funds through ad-views. (As he puts it)
If I were to start a Youtube channel, it'd be first a vlog. Since I do skateboard and am usually a pretty outgoing personality, I think my videos would be interesting enough for the average bored person to watch.
Actually now that I think of it, since my homie is the one who wants this whole thing started up so bad, I think its only fair to have him in my first video. Finally gonna record one of our freestyle sessions 👍

it is that easy bro,
but if you are trying to make a personal channel, find an actual reason (purpose) to keep making videos it'll make it easier for you mentally

If making money is the sole reason you are starting a Youtube channel then don't.
YouTube revenue has gone to shit and only people with 100+ subs on niche channels survive because of sponsorships.
if you want to make money with proper click bait then you have to do your research
think about what the people are looking for.
trust me , i have a channel mainly for making $
It was hard enough with the normal add revenue, let alone with the adpocalypse now.
Anyway I wouldn't say don't start making video's, I mean sure for fun it's okay.
Just don't aspect to make a lot of money mate, who knows maybe after years of experience the new Roman Atwood?
Be original, be different and stay creative. That's all I can give you, goodluck!

I recently made £359.34 off a video with 78000 views, so that doesn't apply to everyone.
