kali loosing internet connection after few minutes

Hi guys,

I'm using Kali 2017.1 with VirtualBox on windows 7. my network setting is Bridge adapter.

I'm having a problem with my internet connectivity when i'm using Kali. For the first minutes i can browse normally without any problem. but after a while i'm loosing connection. When i typing ifconfig i'm no longer see my static IP 192.168.x.x.

Can someone help me with this?
Is your local PC connected via Ethernet?

You could try re installing Kali, perhaps it was mis-configured when installing.
Check if your kali machine's eth0 and your host have the same IP, if this is the case change the Kali IP.
Have you tried editing the configuration file to a managed network.

The configuration file is normally located in /etc/NetworkManager folder and it's called NetworkManager.conf

By default you have a setting that looks like this:
[main]
plugins=ifupdown,keyfile

[ifupdown]
managed=false

If you open it up with a text editor, (for example by entering the command vim /etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf) and changing it to:
[main]
plugins=ifupdown,keyfile

[ifupdown]
managed=true

[All you are changing is the managed=false to managed=true].

If you have already give it a try
Hi!

OK. I found the direcory and changed what you said.

Hope it will work.
