I'm Ok, so i have Gigabyte GA-H61M-D52 MOBO, i5-3330 @ 3.33 Ghz CPU. An ATX-600-W PSU. Im thinking these for months and days but im being paranoid if i will upgrade to GTX 1050 DDR5 4gb https://www.newegg.com/global/ph/Product...-_-Product , and to DDR3 8gb of RAM (g.skill) https://www.newegg.com/global/ph/Product...-_-Product and 60hz refresh rate of samsung monitor. Its coming up to my mind that it could possibly end up into many issues right? I have a doubt on my CPU. Im currently stucked on the current cpu ive got. I have no choice to upgrade it since i5 is not bad but the GPU is , so i would be potentially able to run PUBG on medium textures (like what shroud has) if you know what i mean. On smooth 100+ fps. Might probably try to record aswell. The main question is what are the possible issues i could be facing on? Hopefully not the whole specs right? Im also confused why a GTX 970 came up much more pricey than 1050? https://www.newegg.com/global/ph/Product...-_-Product
Uprading: Are these options gonna let me run PUBG medium 100+ FPS? |

With that being said 1050 > 1060 > 1070 > 970 > 1080. Im kinda confused. Question: is 970 going to run fine speaking of my current parts (CPU, MOBO, PSU and RAM - currently at 4gb DDR3. Might aswell upgrade to 8gb-16gbish if necessary. And which manufacturer i should go for in terms of budget (low-average cost) , efficiency, stability and performance? Last question which amount of gbs i should go for to overcome those render marsmallow bug thingy? (Nov 5, 2017 01:29 PM)Biker BoyZ Wrote: Well my 780ti can run at a good 70 - 80 FPS on PUBG. Medium or high settings can't remember which Seems interesting. How many gbs does your gpu has? Also how much RAM and what is your cpu? I guess i7'ish . Also which manufacturer does your gpu came from? (Nov 5, 2017 01:27 PM)Wuduheck Wrote: Was it the clock speed and the ghz? With that being said 1050 > 1060 > 1070 > 970 > 1080. Im kinda confused. CUDA core count should give you a rough estimate of performance within the same generation. It should go something like this. 1080 (2560 CUDA cores) > 1070 (1920 CUDA cores) > 1060 6 GB (1280 CUDA cores) > 1050ti (768 CUDA cores) 970 (Please don't waste money and buy this brand new. It's an older card.) should be fine, definitely would look into upgrading your RAM. If you're that tight on budget, grab the cheapest. Buildings not loading in properly is more than likely an issue with the game itself.
The game is unfinished and full of bugs. Even 1080tis struggle to maintain a consistent FPS.
I have an RX 480 8GB, sit around 75 FPS but dips to 40 odd now and then. Black Friday/Cyber monday is around the corner, id wait and see what pops up during the sales "Ideas are peaceful, history is violent"

I started playing PUBG and 8GB of ram was making everything load slow and was making the game glitchy(My opinion, mind you)
I upgraded my ram to 24GB of ram. The game runs flawslessly now. I also have a GTX 1050 Ti. If i were you i would just add more ram ro get more frames per second...it helped me

PUBG barely uses over 6GB. It's just an optimized, buggy game. Runs poorly on even the best of rigs. "Ideas are peaceful, history is violent"

Correct me if im wrong please.
Lmfao seriously you upgrading your RAM will not help the game run smoother unless you're using like 2GB/4GB of ram. The game is badly optimized, like Ben said it runs terribly on the best computer setups.
Those of you who think you know everything, are annoying those of us who do.

I'd get my 8gb ram to 16gb to play pubg smoothly while having something else open like google chrome or whatever. Currently with 8GB, all I run is discord/steam and PUBG on the LOWEST settings (all lowest/off) and it still hits 90+% of ram usage easily. bare in mind this is ddr3 ram. If i don't close everything aside of steam/discord the game will play at probably 20fps more or less in cities. As for OP, a 1050Ti will be plenty to run pubg on medium with, however I personally have an i5 4440 @3.1 Ghz and it runs on on near max usage the whole time while playing pubg on the LOWEST settings, so maybe that will hold u back for this poorly optimized game. You can probably find cheap GTX 9xx series second hand, even more likely after the holiday periods ;) |
