Hi Guys,
I'm currently doing an undergraduate research project for my Public Policy class (I do PoliSci). The subject is cybersecurity and particularly we are looking at the implications of Ransomware such as Wannacry for cybersecurity policy with regards to public institutions like the National Health Service and other public infrastructure. The course requires an "expert" interview to be done with one of the state or non-state actors "involved" so I wonder if there are any people here from the hacking community that would be willing to do such an interview via Skype at some point? Particularly, I'm interested in how hackers view the issue from their educated perspective on the topic and I would like to know what kind of change (if any) would be necessary to improve the security of public infrastructure going forward from your perspective. The project is still getting started so there is plenty of time (and the questions will be more developed), I'm just wondering if anybody would be willing to discuss these things. Please leave a comment if you would be up for it (we could even turn it into a little Skype focus group if enough people are willing to discuss, all completely anonymous).
Cheers and thanks in advance if you decide to respond!
