Does My email show publicly?

Hi, I just created an account and when I look at my profile it shows my email.  Is that public?  If so, can I change it?   Thanks so much
Your email isn’t shown publicly, no.

We recommend you take the time to read the HF Help Documents section. The answer to your questions should be contained in there.

Thanks for the response.  I did read some of the Help Docs and didn't see anything about it, Thanks again!
Hi Pavlov,

If you go to the Edit Options page of the UserCP, there is an option to hide your email from other members under the Messaging and Notification section.

Hope this helps!

Thank you for harassing me via private messages. I’ll be sure to let the administrator know what remarks you made.

That doesn't really matter if you check or uncheck this option.
The only thing it does is removing the option to send you an email on your profile.
But even if this option is unchecked, it still wouldn't work, since Omniscient disabled this function (if you click it you get a no permission page).
Signature space for rent. Send me a PM or buy it here.

Thank you, that is incredibly reassuring.  I was a little worried, the last thing I want is my private information everywhere on here.

Cool. 😉 It's been so long since I registered that I couldn't remember that.
