Office Macros?

Hi there guys,
I'm looking for some quick resources on how to write MS Office (mostly Excel/Word) macros, things like taking pictures from camera, reading local file / directory tree, and sending HTTP requests, but without any user interaction (no buttons clicks, I know they'll need to allow running macro).
I have background in programming in C# and other languages, but haven't tried VB at all... so some explanation with analogies would be awesome.
Have a cool signature? hit me up and I might use it.
vba is easy to learn and pick up and there are plenty tutorials online.
Check out tuts on YouTube for VBA. There's plenty out there. First you need to enable the developer tab in word/excel/etc. If you have any specific questions let me know and I'll see if I can help or point you in the right direction.
