Hey everyone,

I was just curious as to what everyone is thinking about with Microsoft Edge. Honestly, I feel like they are making good changes to it and are slowly trying to bring it up to par with competitors. Very curious to your thoughts especially with the latest Fall Creators Update.

Microsoft Edge is a complete piece of shit, it's just Internet Explorer back from it's first doctors visit from the ghetto. It's still shit, always will be shit.

MS would have a MUCH better browser if they would just support chromium and firefox, helping with both of their codes (so they don't chose favorites. Fuck Opera.)

It's literally a gigantic piece of shit. Exploit kits target IE because it's so easy to infect them. Even today. The amount of people shifting to chrome/firefox is bringing down infection rates.

I feel as if these exploits you speak of have been patched. Don't get me wrong, I use Edge as a backup browser to Chrome.

Give the new Firefox Quantum a whirl then install noscript and Ghostery. Also read into Firefox's new security improvements.

Firefox, even without quantum is miles ahead of edge. Edge is shit. The only time I use it is the Xbox browser because they force me to.

In a situation where IE or Edge miraculously became the best browser, people would still not like or use it. The history is so poor it's hard to ignore, coming from a former sys admin who expected everyone to use said browser. They need to kill it like MS paint and their phones because it's best for humanity's sake. :D

Every time I have even tried to use Microsoft edge it is extremely slow for my use I personally do not like the look or feel of the software but this may because I am so use to using others and are stubborn to change

Still randomly hangs on web pages for me making it super annoying to use. I'll be switching over to FireFox before Edge.

Do not like it at all. I'm a sysadmin with a ton of users and we do only have trouble with Edge.

I think it's OK but there are far better browsers out there IMO like Chrome and Firefox.

I like it but there's better browsers like Chrome, Firefox Quantum. Dev tools are no good, so I won't switch.
