Snagged a 2004 datejust today!
Has the new style two-tone jubilee band with a fluted bezel and a Blue Vignette diamond dial. All factory  🤣

Love the old jubilee bracelets, but man my GMT is timeless.

$7,000--Searched around for awhile and found essentially the same watch with a black diamond dial instead for $8k (& only 1 year newer ('05)).
The watch retails new at the Rolex store for $13k + tax so roughly $14.5k depending on your states tax.

Seeing as the one I bought was in really good condition as well as having box and papers unlike the more expensive one (costing you $500 from Rolex if you want to replace the papers and get a new box once authenticated), I was happy with it. They also don't make the Blue Vignette dials anymore so it's nice to have something that'll one day be considered a vintage.

Edit: I really like the jubilee bands as well, second favorite next to the presidential. The new styles are really what convinced me to get this watch, they started doing the hidden style band 2004 and on.

You're actually a fucking moron lmao I hate when people who don't even know shit about the watches & talk out their ass like that. It's a 2004 Datejust, they didn't start doing the Rolex engraving on the inner bezel until post 2007.

If my Rolex had inner graving it would be fucking fake because they hadn't started doing that yet in 2004 so please don't say stupid shit without at least checking google  🤦‍♂
