All Mac's on High Sierra (10.13) have a huge security hole, by default root account is enabled with maximum permissions without a password.
To disable:
1. Go to Apple Menu > "System Preferences" and click the "Users & Groups" tab or "Accounts"
2. Click on the lock, then enter the administrator name and password
3. Click "Login Options"
4. Click "Connect" or "Edit"
5. Click Open "Directory Service"
6. Click on the "Directory Service" window, then enter the administrator name and password
7. Perform the following steps in the "Directory Services" menu bar: Or, choose "Edit" > "Disable Root Users"
Or change the password to the root account, because there is no sense then in all passwords if they change at the root
