What would happen if a job asked for your unofficial academic transcript and you used inspect element to re-arrange your GPA. Would or could they ever know?

I gave fake results in one of my colleges (UK) to get into a higher course. They didn't verify the information. They could contact your highschool, it depends on whether it's procedure or not. Should be worth the risk if GPA is a requirement/you're GPA really sucks.
