I want to mine coins from the cab of my truck. Smallest mine setup tips?

Basically, I'm on the road 8 hours a day (and have to stay overnight in the truck 4 days a week). I want to mine coins using the electric alternator from the truck while I drive. I can get a power inverter up to 1000 Watt (or somewhere close). What do you think would be the smallest, most power efficient rig setup for this kind of thing?

I was thinking something along the lines of;
A large briefcase, or even suitcase, with a small laptop and then the mining setup (whatever that could be) inside. I used to use those small ant miners, literally the size of a USB drive; are those (or similar) still viable?

In terms of cooling I could devise some sort of pipe with a fan on the end of it and hang it out the passenger window, and lead the pipe straight into the suitcase and then another fan blowing out the hot air.

Let me know what you think. Thanks!

Don't you need an internet connection to mine? Or does the truck have wifi

if he's driving, he can find a way to use his hotspot. more than enough data transfer for mining.

I have unlimited 4G anywhere I go. I'll just use the hotspot on my phone.

Anything like usb or nano is useless i wouldnt trust a standard gpu rig in your truck either even though ive seen some compact builds issue is vibration and if you hit a bump hard god knows what would happen. Best bet is s9 miner its quite compact but will be loud and hot. Ive also heard there are chances the heatsinks might fall off the board inside so idk
why not just setup in your house?
What's your power source going to be? I'm not sure if it will be an issue, but it sounds to me like using the truck's battery will drain it pretty fast and then you won't be able to start it anymore.

Why would you set up in your house to pay a ridiculous electricity bill if you hbave a truck that can run your rig with the power of an engine? Would you keep a machine running for hours on hours even days with no end, at your house, while you're miles and miles away driving? No.

you're gonna keep something with you that you can monitor, scale, and keep safe and working. He's got everything he needs in the truck, heat/ac, a place to sleep, internet, and electricity.

Why wouldn't he do this, OP I'd suggest you fabricate your truck to have this rig play a great part in it. Make a fabricated section that's fire proof, and has some sort of anti-shock/anti-static hardware to keep you and everything/everyone else safe.

Also, keep a fire extinguisher in your truck

So is the OP going to use the engine to generate electricity to power the mine?
What's going to happen to your setup when it rains? How are you going to waterproof it and keep it ventilated? You could always say you'll just not drive when it's raining but that won't work if you hit a puddle or some other form of liquid gets hurled in the direction of your truck.

tarp/tent with a mesh window facing the front of the truk. If the equipment is sitting on a rack strapped to the bed, water should only be able to go under it and a mesh window can be used to blow air from the side. even if water came thru a vent, unlikely to mess w/ equipment if its 1-3 ft away
