Greetings,
I'm not entirely sure where to ask this, but would anyone care to share suggestions for hacker / technical audio books? Perhaps Linux or coding related as well.

Strictly audio and paying for the book. I'm looking more for a story... I read "Ghost in the Wires" a year or two back and would like something(s) similar. Non-fiction, or story telling type books or something like Mr. Robot? Something long and just  for entertainment. I'm not looking to learn hacking through such books.

100% recommend "Hackers: Hero's of computer revolution". Goes from the first hackers to the video game era of the 90s. I learned a lot about computer history.

Thanks for the recommendation. I think I may find that particular book a bit dull. But only because my experience with computers. I'm an undergraduate and have over a decade of hack entertainment / history consumption. I really don't need to hear the bill gates and steve jobs story again.

It goes way before Bill Gates and Steve Jobs, they have thier sections but that is more towards the end. The book starts in the 60s and goes in depth on the hacker mentality and culture, not just a history lesson. It reads like a novel not a text book. My favorite section may be the rise of video game programming.
