Well I wanted to see what I can do with generating Stellar Secret Keys and I think I found a good brute forcing method, but once I found out that Stellar API doesn't let you easily check an account balance with the secret key I found it not as useful.
HTML Script that I created to study the Secret Keys: https://pastebin.com/EZZa20S1
-I found out that it always starts with 'S' and the second letter is always between 'A-D'. Once we get to the Third letter it can be A-Z or 0-9. There are 56 total letters/strings....
Simple Python script to (try to) generate an existing secret key: https://pastebin.com/iDGnVnM3
-Requires EXREX Module pip install exrex
I knew I wasn't going to be able to brute-force any secret keys, but I was hoping there was going to be easy API access for checking balances via secret keys (if the key existed) :(
I guess I'll have to do it the hard way and make a script with Selenium and BeatifulSoup to paste in the regex generated secret keys manually here and check if there is an error message or not, then repeat.
Posting this because I'm proud of my accomplishment after learning Python for ~2 weeks. I learn better by showing and teaching.
