Python

Where would one learn the fundamentals of python?

I require some good suggestions, thanks in advance.
For videos, thenewboston and Sendtex on youtube is great.
For reading, A byte of python.

Also there are stickied tutorials at the top in the python forum
one would argue that "python" is just syntax and that learning the fundamentals of programming such as OOP, single responsibility etc. is vastly more important.

Once you have these down its rather simple to pick up a new language.

Check the highlighted posts in the python sub forum and also YouTube. If you get stuck you can always use stack overflow to find your answer. The best thing is to start.
I turn coffee in to code. PM me if you need work done!
Nice free (with optional sub) option is codecademy[dot]com

Learn from your browser. I try and spend a few lunch breaks each week on this site.
You can learn the basics of Python at SoloLearn. https://www.sololearn.com/Play/Python/ also other languages are available there. They also got smartphone apps.
I can also recommend codecademy. You can programm in your browser, this is very beginner friendly.
I personally dont recommend codeacademy, its just too easy and canned, you dont learn to think on your own. All you learn is a bit of the syntax.

If you are serious about learning it then ditch the "online tutorials" and buy a book with good ratings.
sololearn is great for learning a lot of programming languages. I think its a little hard to grasp the concepts some. I really like sololearn but also i recommend testing the things you learn on there so you can see how it works for yourself.
Codeacadamy is cool but I personally think starting with a project and then learning as you create it will be the best. Their are thousands of resources depending on your "google question". When I need to learn a new language for work I try to write a compiler in the language either for a subset of itself or for a subset of another language. For example write a compiler for a subset of the C language. Start with lexer then parser..etc. Google the steps and you should find all you need. Good luck!
I saved this blog a while ago and then used the coursera python course offered by U of Michigan. It was pretty good there's a free version if you don't want to pay coursera
