Hey guys, I've been betting and doing research with CSGO betting for 2 years now, I'll share some of my betting advice for the upcoming CSGO Major.
Some of my bets are put for Underdogs since Majors are known for various upsets throughout the years. I have a reasoning for the bets, be sure to read them.
I usually skip day 1 due to no past experience and low information on a specific team's condition, but I thought of placing some bets and give some advice for you.
Information:
Click Here For ELEAGUE Major 2018 Information
Low: 3-5% of your balance.
Medium: 10-20% of your balance.
High: 20-35% of your balance.
Just make sure high bets do not break your bank, I also do not recommend going all-in.
You'll have better chances of success when betting in multiple matches.
If you place similar bets, be sure to post below and tell me how you do.
I have made the team I picked bold for it to stand out.

North - Vega Squadron
Risk: Medium (50/50)
Bet amount: Medium
Reasoning: Around 50/50, since nobody really knows how North will handle Vega's aggresive style. I put my pick on Vega, since they won Faze and have a reasonable multiplier.
Vega won 16-10 on Overpass (100 = 1€)

Virtus.pro - Quantum Bellator Fire
Risk: High
Bet amount: Very Low
Reasoning: VP will step up their game, or they will choke completely. I put a very low bet for QBF since we do not really know what is going to happen between these two teams. VP has overall better experience on LAN and on majors. This a total gamble from my end so I'm going to place a very low bet for the underdog.
QBF won 16-3 on Cache (100 = 1€)

BIG - Liquid
Risk: Medium
Bet amount: Medium
Reasoning: One of the reasons to BIG's success in the last major was the jump bug on Inferno. Nobody knows if the will stand out this major.
BIG hasn't had an official game in 44 days and the last match they lost to mouze 0-2. Liquid struggled in the playoffs but managed to pull it out.
My pick for Liquid since I assume they'd be in a better shape since coming from tight playoffs.
Liquid won 16-5 on Inferno (100 = 1€)

Astralis - mousesports
Risk: Medium
Bet amount: Medium
Reasoning: Device is back and they've been practicing. Mousesports has had bad results in qualifiers.
This is a BO1 so anything is possible, but I doubt mousesports will win.
Mouz won 16-2 on Cache (100 = 1€)

Cloud9 - G2
Risk: Medium (50/50)
Bet amount: Medium
Reasoning: Here's the two teams that went 3-0 in the qualifiers. C9 is a great team, but I think that G2 will upset Cloud9 fans this major.
G2 won 16-8 on Cache (100 = 1€)

Gambit - NaVi
Risk: High (50/50)
Bet amount: Low
Reasoning: Gambit won the past major and is a very good team on LAN. NaVi had some upsets in the qualifiers and I can see NaVi winning only if s1mple steps up his game.
Zeus being back to NaVi means still a lot though. Dosia, Adren and Hobbit have to be consistent in this BO1.
It's going to be a tough match so I marked the risk as high, we are probably seeing overtime if everything goes well on both sides.
Gambit won 16-5 on Nuke (100 = 1€)

SK - Space Soldiers
Risk: High
Bet amount: Low
Reasoning: If you're looking for a perfect underdog bet, this is it. Space Soldiers have a perfect chance to make an upset in a simple BO1.
These teams haven't had head to head games before and SK has more experience on LAN so the multipliers are perfect for underdog.
SK won 16-13 on Mirage (100 = 1€)
SK got super lucky at the end, it was a very tight match.
Hopefully you will place some bets with me, wish you the best of luck!
About gambit - navi, you do realize that Zeus has gone back to Na'Vi.. basically knew every trick they had in the bank which probably will play a large part of the setup na'vi going to make. Gambit had struggles before Zeus came to the team and it was just leadership, when zeus came to Gambit they had it and he boosted them which proves the impact of the leader. Now they don't have him and they are instead meeting him and his old team with the munc-eater s1mple.
Dosia is underperforming very often and Adren and Hobbit is usually those who takes up the slack and they manage to do okey, but against Na'Vi this time i'm having hard time seeing it going to Gambits side sadly. I hope for Gambit but i have my thoughts about it as you can see.
The most solid matchup is Astralis vs mouse, i believe Astralis will take all the 3 matches without issues and i made my pickem bets with them winning 3-0 in the group stage.
Either way good luck!

I totally forgot to mention about the history, this is true but I still think that Hobbit and Adren are such consistant players that Gambit is going to secure this one. This match and VP's match are the ones I'm not sure about. S1mple is not tha consistant in every match like Dosia. It's going to be a hard match and we might see overtime as well.

Risk: High
Bet amount: Very Low
Reasoning: FaZe is one of the top tier teams, but fnatic is a tricky opponent, FaZe lost to Vega due to their agressive playstyle but won NaVi with ease.
Since the odds are so good for Fnatic in this game, I put a bet on fnatic. This is a risky bet, I'm personally a FaZe fan though.
Other then that Vega game for which they couldn't really prepare they've had a good showing in the challengers stage. And they know how Fnatic plays.
I'd go with FaZe on this one, although I wouldn't rule out Fnatic.
These are my two favourite teams, so I'm definitely watching this one.

The odds are so up on the roof so I'd recommend going underdog with a very low bet. Not really looking to get a 1.15 multiplier.
Also, it's not so sure, fnatic did well last major as well. The odds are just too good for fnatic in my opinion.
I'm a FaZe fan and will be cheering for FaZe, but if they lose I won't be mad either.
EDIT:
Vega won 16-10 on Overpass (100 = 1€)
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS MEMBER
Fortunate knows his shit when it comes to CSGO.
Good luck with the VP game, I'd go with VP actually.
They're quite a good team.

Yes, I agree, the odds are more towards to VP, but since I'm rolling on a lower bankroll I'm aiming towards more underdogs.
Betting for QBF is reasonable and smart considering the odds, check my reasoning for more details. The game is starting now.
EDIT:
QBF won 16-3 on Cache (100 = 1€)
I followed fortunates advice for the VP - QBF match got an easy multiplier of 4.36. Thanks!

Great call and congrats on the win!
hi there.
Faze won fnatic on Cache 8-16. I didn't bet on this match as I couldn't decide which to bet for the underdog.
Next up is Astralis - mousesports, I placed my bets on Astralis this should be good. Stay updated.

Oh well, day 1 is full of upsets and surprises. Mouzsports played very well, 16-2 is sensational against a top 5 team!
EDIT:
Won the latest two matches. Updated the OP.
wooo SK Gaming took over Space Soldiers.
That was a super fucking close game, and botzera out there for legit 3/4 of the game.
