Terms of Service - Marketplace

People are nowadays using basic methods and advertise them as unsaturated, unique etc. and once you purchase it's general knowledge. And that's bullshit but I guess that's how this marketplace works. However, when asking for a refund and the sellers keep their Terms of Service under a thousand vouches in the smallest text possible, it goes to another level.
I recommend that the ToS should be fairly visible for buyers before purchasing anything so there's no misunderstandings. It's basically a "legal scam" at this point.

The marketplace is filled with sellers who are falsely advertising their products and showcasing the earnings from the books they're selling to people trying to make a change in their life.

It's bullshit, sharpen up.
Ehhhh

I mean this isn’t a place I would guess the staff would step in. Not to mention that’s how REAL businesses list their ‘TOS’ and warnings as well.

If you know people make their TOS in small print then you should obviously read the small print lol, and most TOS’s are standard anyways like no refunds and shit.
Staff do not get involved in the marketplace deals and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

New users receive a PM from Omniscient stating any deals are done at their own risk, I feel that is enough of a warning personally.

If you have found any sellers guilty of multiple vouching you should forward a staff member proof of it.

Also, this is at the top of the marketplace.

Quote:5. HF will not be held responsible for deals made by members. All deals at your own risk.

I am fully aware that HF is not responsible for any deals here but that's not even related to what I am stating, I am merely stating a rule applying to all sellers which has no relation to a deal being unsuccessful or not. It'll just make the satisfaction of purchasing here even greater.

And how do you think those rules would be enforced if staff does not get involved in deals?

I was thinking a rule in the same level as 'no identity fraud' etc. Just merely suggested. If they don't even do that, then ignore what I said and just close this thread. Users can continue getting scammed, that's fine.. lol. I am closing this, re-open if there's a possibility this can be done.
