A friend of mine has talked me into picking up OSRS and I have decided that maybe I should considering I'm doing nothing with my life right now anyway.
I'll be starting from scratch and I won't be using any bots at all. Let's see how long it takes to max combat and finish all the quests that are essential for the account.
Fresh account update 1: (2 days of playing)
I managed to get 76 quest points.
My total levels add up to 515 I think, I logged out and forgot.
I got 43 prayer for protection prayers which should make questing a lot easier.
Considering the goal is to get barrows gloves asap, I am hoping I get 100 quest points tomorrow.
I've also put minimal effort into training skills, quests have given me 95% of the stats I currently have.
Update 2: 11 days playing OSRS
Barrows gloves achieved:

Thank you! Hopefully, it'll be really fun. About to continue questing, I started yesterday.

Not really, essential quests are the ones I'm going to get xp off of and use certain items from. Just things I need to start making gp.

"how long it takes to max combat"
I've always wanted to max combat but always get burned out, even if I'm doing NMZ.

I really don't think it's that hard. I'm just going to stick to slayer for training, it makes the grind a lot more fun specially if you get clue scrolls and if you get good drops at higher slayer levels. I'm still questing atm, I found it to be the easiest way to get levels when you start out.
I hope you like questing, because new accounts suck dick. Glad to see people still coming back to the game though.

I don't really like questing but it has to be done. These are two screenshots of yesterday's update!

Goodluck OP! It's going to take a long time to achieve those goals, but you can do it!

Thank you. I've achieved my goal of getting 100 quest points today, I even have a little more than 100 right now and doing some more quests before I head to bed!
good to see more people play rs :)
Had to study for my finals for a couple of days which slowed down my progress, currently online and have done 2 quests so far and working on getting access to fairy rings before continuing the rest. Just doing the beginning of Fairy Tale II for that since I don't have the requirements to finish it. Hopefully I log out today with 130+ quest points!
It's been a while since I updated my progress thread so here is a look at my stats and quest points. I'm currently 62 combat and I should have barrows gloves tomorrow.
