LuminosityLink RAT Seller Taken Down

Well, there goes another one.
C\C++\ASM Programmer. Looking for Jobs

No fucking way.

Quote:NCA said the Bristol man was one of the LuminosityLink resellers who resold the original RAT to other customers. They said the suspect had sold the LuminosityLink RAT to over 8,600 customers located across 78 countries.

UK officers analyzed the data and shared it with other law enforcement agencies across Europe, Australia, and America. A joint international takedown effort was coordinated and carried out in September 2017, when law enforcement authorities in the UK and other countries arrested some of the people who bought the RAT.

I have gone through like 5 RAT takedowns, and have never had a visit from the police, lmfao.

Quote:"I decided to recode LuminosityLink since it was one of the best RAT i have ever seen," said a HackForum user currently offering a free LuminosityLink RAT clone.

Oh my god I love drama :3 "HackForum" made me smile 🤗
+ customers get fucked aswell if he had any information left on the systems

See ya
Lol BleepingComputer literally showed the LinkLuminosity meme. I'm done.
Looks like NCA is going to make a statement on HF. They asked me if it was okay. Of course they can post just like anyone else.

Probably something similar to this:

Glad that HF is being used to educate. Sadly, I think UK has some of the strictest laws when it comes to programs you run. I believe that just having certain software on your computer they deem a crime. So everyone in UK that may have purchased Luminosity risks getting arrested I believe. And you have to assume that they have a list of all purchases.
I am very curious to see how this develops. Definitely looking forward to NCA’s post regarding the investigation.

Great work, hope to see more arrests in the future from the few that are still left.
It’s way too risky to run a RAT now. It seems that a lot of programs are becoming guilty by association with HF.
