Basic For Loop Question

This is a pretty basic question but I need it for my homework can't seem to figure it out. I am trying to create a for loop which will print a function that has been already defined, 'i' number of times. However I can't figure out the exact way to write the code. The function I have defined is called 'row'. This is the code I have for the for loop, but obviously something is wrong. There are some parameters, but I don't think those effect the issue I am having. If someone can just point me in the right direction it will help a ton.

Code
def grid(p, numofboxes, x, y, size, numofrows):
   for i in range(0, numofrows):
       [b]row(p, numofboxes, x, y, size) * i[/b]
 <-- I don't know what I write code wise so this function gets produced 'i' number of times.
If I do not reply in 24 hours I do not want it.
