Looking to purchase either Bitdefender or ESET for family.
Yes I know about "Just use windows defender it works fine" but I would like either of these applications or any other working anti virus.
The price is around the same.
Looking at either Eset smart or Bitdefender total.
Have been using Eset for 4-6 years now using public keys such as Trial Keys (So you need to enter a new key every 30th day) which has worked fine, But I am planning to start supporting the companys instead and so I don't have to keep on using trial keys every month across multiple computers...
Thanks!

from local computer market

EDIT: Take a look at this:

av-test.org proves nothing but shit
avira avg are total shit
Kaspersky, ESET and Bitdefender are both inferior.
At the moment i dont use any AV software. Those software affects computer speed very much. I tested Bitdefender AntiVirus some months ago and it was very buggy.. i mean i had problems with open web pages or programs because BD makes my computer react very slow. Especially web browser or large files and games. Kaspersky was OKAY but it needs some good tweaks. Eset was the best out of the three.. i mean in speed. And i should mention that my computer is quite new. i7 Skylake, 16GB, M2 NVM SSD so its not computers fault :P
So what is the current situation ? Any cool updates for Bitdefender ? Or should i stick with KAV/ESET in future.
Kind regards

I second to this,
I believe one of the best antiviruses is HitmanPro ( https://www.hitmanpro.com/en-us/hmp.aspx)

I feel like buying a key on Ebay will have it working for like 45 days then it will just stop working?
Or is the keys really "valid" ?
Eset is better by far, don't even try to compare it to anything else.
I have tried and tested a lot of AVS over the years. I find Avira to be one of the best. Also one of the hardest avs to bypass detection from what I know.
SneakyBoots Discord or HF convo me.

Avira is a hit or miss AV, it flags stuff just because, not because they're doing something wrong, but just because, i don't like to babysit AVs to see if they're behaving correctly.
Also, don't even try to connect to the internet on an unknown publisher app.
And by the way, killing avira's process is not that hard, at least a couple years ago it wasn't.
As someone who has been using ESET for a long time, I can vouch for its credibility. Good luck with your purchase.

A nice choice which reminds me, I need to renew my license as well. 🤝
The best anti-virus is your brain. It's that simple most anti-viruses are just bullshit in my mind. Feels like there always behind and slowing down your computer.
