.netcore can run on both Windows and Linux (assuming you didn't use any OS depending code). Far as I know, Digital Ocean provides you a VPS so you can run your code on it, just install the .net core runtime and run it (if you need to run service, make sure to configure that as normal linux services).
Have a cool signature? hit me up and I might use it.

To add to this, just to be sure you can send them a PM asking if NET core is supported. If they don't know for some reason, ask if you can get a refund if you can't host your website.
I have several asp.net core apps on my VM's running on https://www.digitalocean.com/.

Basic overview.
Get a VPS/Server depending on your needs. If it's very basic, a $5 VPS from OVH will work fine.
Install your favorite Linux Distribution.
Install .net core 2 runtime. Use google to find an easy tutorial.
I normally transfer the entire project over and build on the server. Might be easier ways, but it was the fastest.
Go to the output directory and run the dll file (Google how, if you don't know).

Currently have 5 servers and a VPS running some projects.
