Looking for someone to modify a source to my needs - Margin Calculator

So I code like shit and haven't done any coding in years. I want to see if one of you big brained members can recode the source I found to better suit my needs.

I found this: https://www.codeproject.com/Articles/106...or-Control

It works great but I need to be able to change the margin. Currently its set to only be an output box. Not something I can input too.

If someone could help me out with this I would be very grateful! I might even hook you up with a tip after I get some extra money to spend.

So literally all you gotta do is change the code to allow it to calculate with a manually set margin/sale/cost. Thats pretty much it.
This should be Posted in the .NET Section.

Usually people offer payment for people to refactor source codes. Sometimes you can get lucky and people do it for free, but don't expect it.

I looked at the link, and the first thing I noticed is that to check if the textbox contains only digits there is a method to validate the text. First of all, the loop is not broken when a non numeric char is found, but it would be better to just handle the keypress of the textbox and set the Handled property to true if the char is a digit, or at least use the Any function from LINQ.
Four years programming yet has not learned basic control events. No, you would not use keypress. Validation is already an event. The validation happens as part of the focus event chain.

This is basics stuff Ninja, which makes me laugh when you say you passed a course.

You even know what linq is?

First of all, Validation is not an event, only Validated and Validating. Second, I didn't read that he is inheriting the method and calling it from there. I thought it was a function that was called upon a button click or something. Why are you so obsessed with proving me wrong and slandering me in front of other people? It must be a sad life to live to feel the need to bash someone. I ignored your previous comments towards me, and I will in the future. I am only responding to this to admit I was partially wrong so OP knows as well.

At this point, it doesn't even matter. I'm just gonna budget for $50 for someone to make me a custom one. Which isn't super hard. I just don't want to learn it. Not Lazy, it just doesn't interest me.
Get off your case? You mean how for ages you try to belittle members stating you're a coder for many years? The only way i will stop is if you man up. It's an insult you think you should offer a coding service when having less than do experience. Stop thinking you are better then you know. Its sad and pathetic.

You never offer examples, why i dislike you. Stop this approach. This yesterday i saw....

Ninja, you are not a coder of experience. You are a teenager yes? Stop pretending. I know more then you will ever forget. I can spot a mileoff when you decide to post then decide to reply with links that you googled.

Kids of 4 years are not coders. I would of not offered my coding abilities even after 6 years. I coded for m$ at 13.

you really are joke.
Seems like people are giving you a hard time.

I'm posting to remind myself to come back, most likely after class tomorrow.

Sending you a pm now and I'll see what I can do.

What? Telling someone he should post code in a programming section has nothing to do with all those things you say about me. So if I was a little kid who was lying, I am not allowed to tell people to post code in the programming section? What's next? Being a kid means you can't tell your dad to stop beating you?

I have belittled many, many members. But never for the reason; "being a coder for many years".

I just want you to look at your post history. Look at yourself. You are a grown man, claiming to have 26 (or however many it was) years of experience. Lets say you started when you were 10, that means you are 36 years old. So you are a 36 or so year old man who spends time bullying a member online, writing a 2 paragraph post with petty insults that look like a 5th grader wrote them. Just read back your posts, look at how childish they are. You are a grown man going out of his way to bully someone online, acting like a man child, and resorting to petty insults. You are so obsessed with "exposing" me. It truly is a really sad life that you live.
