Would like to start out by saying this is my own fault. I honestly did not think people would waste their time scamming for $40 but clearly, I'm wrong.
Anyway, im just putting this out there for people to see hopefully others can avoid my mistakes.

Scammers scam for the lowest possible of amount tbh. Money is money no matter how you view it from any perspective. Sorry for your loss, but yeah, you could've checked his recent reputation first before dealing. That's like the first thing you should do before dealing with anyone in here.
