What features would you like to see in a digital marketplace?
It will have 0 fees and will act as an alternative to sites like selly.gg

Here is what I have ready thus far

Seller Panel Features:

• Beautiful easy to use interface
  


• 2 Factor Authentication (Google or Authy both supported)
  


• Automated login rate limiting coupled with ReCaptcha/NoCaptcha to prevent brute force attacks
  


• Security logging on all actions taken on on your account (Login, Product and Settings changes)
  


• All product information is hidden from PayPal - each order gets a unique ID which cannot be linked to your product. Refer is blanked before customer is sent to paypal
  


• Secure product URLs (ex: u0rsb instead of incrementing numeric ID)
  


• Advanced and easy to use product creation, editing and management
  


• Support for HTML in product descriptions
  


• Support for custom email messages (on per product basis)
  


• Support for multiple types of products (Accounts/Codes, Files, URLs and Services)
  


• When selling Accounts/Codes you can set a minimum or maximum per order (useful for avoiding excessive fees when selling items for less than $1/ea or preventing buyers for buying all your stock in one go)
  


• Large file size limit for uploaded files
  


• Limit downloads of delivered file(s) (per product basis)

Might be able to add that as a premium feature as mass emails aren't cheap to send or make it so you can implement your own mail chimp/send grid api
Remember we won't be taking any fees!

Be quite interesting to see how this turns out, Obviously the 0 fee will appeal to a lot of people & there are plenty of other ways for you to make money if you require the funding down the track. My main suggestion would be customization for sellers in regards to their store, eg, able to put there own logo, colour scheme etc.

Exactly. Give it 6 months until either fees start coming in or it dies.

Don't take me wrong, nothing wrong with doing that. But a serious long term project like this needs a constant source of revenue. Trust me that extra features for prem users are not gonna cut it considering Selly and Rocketr have a lot of awesome features already. Just look above, user demanding 24/7 support. Providing that (required) feature costs money or time (or both). Running shit like this has a lot of expenses like coders (or if you code you can cut this out) and servers. If you are not running your own btc/bch/eth nodes, then i assume a third party like Coinpayments is gonna be used, which takes up a fee per transaction. At the beginning is all fun. Then when you see users racking $100k a month and you making -$20 from users then you are gonna lose motivation.

Source: i coded my own gateway for fun, threw it in the trashcan because this business model doesnt work. And I ain't wasting time in shit that is not making me money :)
