The past 2 years I've slacked on school, but recently I have started to slack more often.
I am 18 and I am on my last year at school. All my grades are absolute shit, except the PI and English.
I've started to skip classes a lot and all my teachers started to talk shit and it is getting me worried.
I am focusing on making cash, going to the gym and maintaining a nice social life although it all impacted badly on my school.
I am doing both offline and online businesses a couple of hours a day, 2 hours at the gym and I am just a couple of hours a day at school either sleeping or just not behaving correctly.
Soon will come the summer and I will have to make a big decision.
To go to college, or pursue my goals of making atleast 40 grand so I can open up a local business.
What are your thoughts?
Everyone's personal opinions differ.
As of mine, I'd rather prefer to go to college and try to get myself a more secure future with a proper job and advance myself to improve my lifestyle with it.
A local business seems fine enough but if I were you, I'd rather choose studies over local business. You never know how business will be. But you can have it as backup and pursue studies. In case something goes awry, switch to the business.
I'm 18 right now, I started slacking in school when i was 13 really bad and at age 14 I left school and took to online courses, to which I dropped out of 6 months later and quit school all together.

Negative. Just withdrew from the semester. Focusing on moving and finding a job in Cali, when I become a resident I might go back to community college.
buy me
It's all up to you. What's more important a social life or an education? For me It's easy I choose education due to the fact people come and go but if you mess up and get stuck in a shitty job then that really sucks. It's all about what makes you happy.

A degree is pretty valuable, it stays with you for life, and you only have a certain window of opportunity (generally ages 17-23) before it becomes much harder to get one.
Your early 20s will come around and you either have a bachelors degree from a reputable university, or you are successful enough to never need to show such a credential again.
I'm still in school but to be honest im slackin af.. i dont care that much..

lol, i agree, but oh well that's all we have to do.
If you start slacking in high school, college is gunna be hell for you.
I didn't start slacking until I did vocational school lol even then I still always went to class, just never studied ahead of time.
If you got a solid plan that is pretty full-proof and doesn't require school (and you have no motivation to go to school), that might be your better option.
Rather than paying for college, slacking, getting dropped from classes, etc and wasting money there.
I suggest get your grades up and focus on getting a part-time job. Take community college classes after high school and focus on making money through whatever job you get, however still make sure you are passing your classes with good grades. You will only be taking GE courses so they are ridiculously easy.
What is so hard about school for you? Are you too lazy to do homework? Are you too lazy to study? Do you get lazy and then fall behind? Do you get lazy because you start having too much free time then everything catches up? Find the source of the problem first.
If it is the homework, find a teacher that rarely gives you homework and readings. If you are too lazy to study, find a teacher that doesn't give hard test. Now it honestly will be hard for you to find all of these qualities in a professor specifically but since these are GE's they are super easy to begin with.
A degree is super important and valuable, in my opinion, because it helps put your foot out there into the real world. And next to that, it always gives you something to lean on if things don't go as planned. If getting a degree is too far down the road for you, you should at least get your AA.
I forget the exact steps but you can also get the credentials to become a substitute teacher which will give you even more money.
I work currently as a house constructer and get paid around 4000-5000 euros but it's not easy ur back is getting destroyed from repairing roofs and shit
If u might think 5k is much it isn't I live in Switzerland and a normal job is getting paid around 10k

School the worst thing for me! I was never comfortable when we are inside but when I'm outside it's the opposite!
I've recently been slacking but I'm only 15 so I guess its kinda ok?
I always say time and time again to people, college degrees matter. Companies use them to see who the dedicated ones are. Get certificates to advance in whatever field of study you choose. If you're an entrepreneur and have the balls to go tunnel vision in that shit, go to Gary Vee academy (there is no academy just being sarcastic) but look at his content. It all depends on what type of person you are. Check this out! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bccq9xzy-94
