I need to be able to add a very simple drop down console to my engine in visual basic
So any advice or CODE EXAMPLES I could use to get this implemented thanks in advance....

Please if there is a more simple way to do this please supply the code thanks

You specifically want a Console window? Or just a RichTextBox where you can log stuff? I mean, if you can write a game engine then surely you know how to log stuff and present the logs to the user.

I just want a RichTexBox that can log stuff and present logs to the user..
But a console window to would be nice so I can learn how to do that as well

Add a RichtTextBox to your form. Append text to it whenever you want. You can use a logging library, or if that is too much, just a simple interface that you implement, like this:

Hey is it possible to allow some kind of dropdown function for the richtextbox
so when it logs it just don't show up automatic it just needs a button pressed to lower it then it shows the log info
