Unity Roadmap

We have been working on some project within the private Unity forum. Due to a lack of skilled members completing out recruitment challenges, we are working as a very small unit and it is taking us a long time to complete some of our projects. We also don't like to force members to get involved in project they are not interested in. We currently have a lot of content and tutorials that are posted privately in our subforum and exclusive for our members but we would also like to make some public contributions to Hack Forums in the name of Unity.

Current projects we are working on:
  • A website which scans other websites for vulnerabilities and other potential issues.
  • A SaaS version of the above scanner.
  • A pentesting service, which is currently operating and we have been reviewing websites within our lounge for fun (with permission of owners).
  • A custom coded VPN by RaZoR which will be exclusive for unity members only, to keep our members safe. 🙂

We are really interested in hearing some feedback from members on HF. We realize that Unity has been a very closed group, and the community are curious about the direction it is headed. We realize that Unity is one of the few groups which has prevented HF groups from being fully monopolized, and a lot of members are hoping to see more from the group. We decided to post this to keep you all aware of our plan and what we're about.

We also plan on posting a new recruitment soon, one which will appeal to a different genre of hacking, as we have focused a lot of web exploitation in our past recruitments. Hopefully we will see more members, and with this we can accomplish more in a shorter period of time.

If you have any ideas for Unity, let us know in the comments. We love feedback/suggestions for our group, and we may invite some members if we deem them to be skilled and trusted enough to be a part of our group and they have some interesting plans for the group. Thanks for reading our road map anyway, I hope it will aid a lot of members in understanding what we are about.
It is nice to see you letting the community know where the group stands and what the future holds for it.

I am interested to see the public release of some tutorials and other products as I am sure that they will be no less than amazing.

One thing that I have lacked the sight of is groups working together on projects. Having collaborations not only lessons the work load but it also promotes a healthy and trusted community. Over the years, I have only seen groups go after their own personal interests to make a name for themselves as well as exclusivity rather than putting the community first.

It is just my personal opinion but it is what I would like to see from more groups moving forward.

I think Unity would do very well with creating tutorials and other products that would be released to the public forums.

I wish you the best of luck with the groups endeavors!

Do you mean "lessens" instead of "lessons"? Sorry, your signature just made me want to point that out. 🤐

But yeah, Unity is a great group, and a roadmap like this also helps us members get a good idea of where we're going.
It's going to be fun to see where we end up. 🙂

I wrote this on my mobile device, so I don't have my fullest attention on details.

My sincerest apologies to those whom I may have offended.

How dare you wear the Grammar Nazi award in your signature. Absolute insult to everything which grammar fascism has taught us.
Thanks for updating everyone bud. I'm looking forward to seeing some of the groups public contributions. :)
Thank you everyone for the kind words and for the feedback, our web scanner is nearly finished just polishing and finalizing few stuff!
cant pm you or reply to your post on the counterstrike section but the song you wanted to know about is ybn nahmir - bounce out with that
A classroom based on the projects you are working to train users who are planning to take this sector as a career choice or are already down the career path. I know that many groups tried this concept in the past and failed to live up to it either the lack of dedicated trainees and mentors or the group being sold or rebranded, but I do incline to believe that under a strong leadership this can be achieved and we can expect great things from the group and its trainees and later graduates for that matter. 🙂

I assume that the majority of users on HF, particularly those interested in courses like that, would still be attending school. I think the whole school dynamic is not something a lot of people would be a fan of, especially in their spare time.

We will achieve that same goal, by posting challenges and fun/entertaining tutorials. Information is always there for those who seek it, but if you're not into reading/watching tutorials, then it's always fun to be a part of a secret organization on HF which share some pretty cool stuff. I mean, I'm absolutely shocked by the standard of some of the stuff shared in that private SF, it's beyond expectations.

There's an old Apache saying which I think will suit what I am trying to get across, in that we will achieve the same goal but without the forceful classroom environment, which a lot of countries are trying to abolish. The saying goes like this: "You can take many paths to get to the same place."
I learned quite a bit on the last recruitment challenge. Thanks for spreading the secrecy to the public. I look forward to participating in the next.

Not sure you want to say that lol
I have already been asked to recruit for RATs, and anyone who knows me knows I wont make it easy lol
m0bile is the pen tester, so I know his challenges already. You boys gonna have some fun soon. Hahahaha 🤭

mObile has made some great contributions already to the group in terms of pentesting. I'm really excited to see what our next challenge will be.
It seems like many of your projects are internally-oriented, benefiting only your own members. This seems like mostly wasted effort: you have a small, skilled team working on projects to benefit a small, skilled team. Would be cool to see more outward-facing projects for the whole site. Doesn't just have to be time-consuming software or websites, either - you guys could contribute a lot by writing guides/releasing resources/etc. Just my two cents; above all, I'm really glad to see Unity up and active :)
