Makes it very hard on the eyes when reading it considering white text and white opacity change.

Also a side note:

Blocked users still appear in your alerts, which isn't major, but would be nice to if a option was added to disable that in the future.

We're not going to do much to expand the features of My Alerts plugins. It's being rewritten by the author anyways. CSS and some elements I will alter. Personally I don't see a big issue reading the already read alerts and you can currently go into your usercp to see them in regular CSS.

fair enough, I'm surprised alerts was even added tbh, after 1+ years of using pm notifications a slight difference
