I have a question or questions about taxes and came here for help hopefully one of you mothafukkin gensuis got the answers.

I have 8 days to file my federal taxes. That being said I'm kind of in a little hole right now and can't afford to pay it all at wants. I work a 1099 sub contracting job so my taxes are a little different. I have to write off everything and save receipts.

Here's my questions

- can I do a payment plan?
- what all can I write off?
- Should I use Turbo tax? If no what do you suggest

Get a good cpa they are not that expensive and will save you alot more than their fees. They can file an extension for you as well.

My cpa is backed up every year so I always just ask his secretary to file for the extension in January and send him all my reciepts and expenses. Normally around June he has good news for me.

How much do you usually pay and how does that work? Just a one time fee ? I'm new to this an can't stand feeling stupid about my money

I pussy him once he has completed my taxes but before he files with the government. His fee outs normally only around $400 and that covers everything including the extension.
