Like many others, I came to Hackforums for the usual bullshit. Hacking, coding, cracking and all of that stuff that seems cool to learn about. The forums was something quite mysterious to me in 2014 and almost seemed like the "dark part" of the internet to me (which I realised quickly was simply a stereotype for these types of forums). I originally joined to learn how to code in Python along with cracking hashes and the usual "how to hack ____" but over the years it's become much more than that. This was back in 2014, however, I didn't really start visiting the site frequently until 2016-(early) 2017 where I quickly became engulfed in the community-side of the forums. I bought L33T almost immediately when I started becoming active and became obsessed with the lounge and various other areas of the website that interested me. I remember waiting so excited to get that UB3R approval which I had waited for a long time to obtain. Without Hackforums, I wouldn't have learned at ALL about Cryptocurrency which has become a concurrent hobby for me and my overall money situation has become much better, I have learned to manage my money better and have gained a few sources of income that have helped me over the past year which I simply wouldn't have come across if it wasn't for Hackforums.
I'm extremely grateful for what the forums have allowed me to learn from things such as security, cryptocurrency, financials and advertising.
There's simply an everlasting resource for learning for hundreds of subjects on Hackforums which has kept me here till this day.
My knowledge is ever expanding due to Hackforums and I now have many life skills which I generally wouldn't have had without Hackforums.
Thanks, Hackforums, I can't wait for the coming years.
