I just got done taking my FAA Part 107 drone pilot exam. I passed, but it was tough.
The exam was super legit. Went to an FAA testing center at an airport, had to sign in and have my photo ID copied. Got lead into a testing room with a old dirty ass computer to take the test. Two web cams are pointed at you that record everything you do during the test. I passed with an 80%.
Was surprisingly very difficult. The guy that took the test before me did not pass.
Anyone thinking about taking this exam? Or has taken it?
What’s apart of the exam and requirements? How long was the exam and cost?

Requirements:
- US Government ID
- Be over 16 years old
- No drug related charges in the past year
Exam covers reading flight charts, knowing a bit about weather, drone safety and risk reduction.
Was 60 questions, need a 70% to pass.
Costs $150.
Sweet, I passed mine a while back. Still waiting on the cert to get mailed.

I'm still waiting for my results to be posted to IACRA so I can get my temp.
How long after the test did that take for you?

It takes 48 hours to post to IACRA. Then you do the application online and that takes you about a week to get the temp certificate. Then it takes about 45-60 days to actually get approved (TSA background check, registering your info with your local airport and regional office, etc). I still haven't got my physical certificate in the mail yet.
