How do hack locked Windows computer?

I have physical access to a Windows 10 machine, don't know the login password (Windows Live account). What can I do to it?
I don't know if this also works with Windows Live accounts (But creat a new one should work)

Boot with a live linux distribution located on an USB flash drive.
Open the File Manager and go to "/Windows/System32/".
Rename the Utilman.exe to something like "Utilman.exe.old".
Copy cmd.exe, rename it to "Utilman.exe".
Boot with your normal Windows, click on the Easier operation button in the corner.
Now you can change your password or creat a new account.

hey thanks for the advice. Sorry I mispoke, its not a windows live account, just the regular windows account that most people log into windows with.

is there anyway to install a RAT or something without changing the password? (i.e. make it seem like no one fucked with the computer)
As said by the previous poster that is an option, also using an ubuntu or kali disc you can blank the password, and kon-boot is an option as well

You could boot with linux and copy a RAT in the Autostart folder.

"C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup"
