I am trying to connect to my newly created XMPP account through Pidgin, but I keep on getting an error stating that I am unable to connect. Is the server down?

Hackforums.im is offline, don't think it's coming back.

You can use Hacker.im

Just try another xmpp host like creep.im or any of the 100+ others.
Feel free to donate a few bitcoins to me.

Oh jeez, the XMPP pages on this forum should be removed then. Outdated information in the Extras page too.
