Hello,

So recently I sold something on eBay, and the buyer asked me through eBay messaging if he could send the payment directly through PayPal.
I said yes, but I haven't sent him the product yet due to this.

This payment just looks different, and is in fact a bill, which is not something I am familiar with on Paypal.
I was afraid it was some kind of trick or something, because the 60$ doesn't show in my balance.

Invoice scam.

do not ship the items until the amount shows up in your paypal balance, and you have a payment notification email from the correct paypal address - check the domain is correct and not a fraudulent one.

Never deal offsite when you're the seller using eBay.

The buyer always win if you do that, don't be stupid.
