im just going to copy and paste this.. only applies to WPA2 but for WEP you can use Generix or any other tool out there really.. As for phones I believe theres another forum section dedicated to it like imsi
Well for starters you need to get a wifi USB that supports monitor mode and preferably injection as well. I personally use Alfa-AWUSO36NH since its Plug-and-Play as well as has a nice range. I recommend using google and finding the one that best suits you.
EX1: Panda PAU09 doesn't support injection so no MitM/ARP poison but does support Monitor mode for capturing handshakes+dual band(2.4Ghz & 5Ghz)
EX2: Alfa-AWUSO36NH supports both monitor mode and Injection so you can use any tool provided but only limited to 2.4Ghz
After that I recommend you getting Kali Linux which is an Operating System Google: Kali Linux (I cant post links)
Once this step is done you can try different attacks/scripts/tools to pen test your networks(or with permission someone else's)
There are different attacks that are being used on WPA2 security networks.
1. WPS (Wifi-Protected Setup) using Reaver and Pixie Dust
2. Bruteforce - De-authenticating a connected user and capturing a handshake which is labeled as a 'Capture file or .cap' then using hashcat(GPU if you have one) or Aircrack-ng and a Wordlist(use google there's millions of them Rockyou, PSK-Kracker and so on) you can attempt to find the password.
On the other hand WEP networks take seconds to attack/crack same goes for WPA.
This is the basics on how to hack/attack a wifi network. The tools mentioned are available in Kali Linux as well as other OS's such as Parrot.
You will need to do extensive research on how to accomplish these and learning some basic linux code + understand general networking.
Good Luck and learn! :] BTW dont pay anyone for anything.. Just use the Search Function.
P.S please correct me on the MitM + Arp attacks I'm still learning :]
