I was at Wal-Mart today(Yes, life was that bad) getting a new Xbox1 controller so I could play Dragon Ball FighterZ with my brother, and I came across a cool-looking mouse. After reading all the specs on the box, I bought it along with the controller I had originally planned to purchase. I got home ~20mins ago and since then have been loving this new mouse!
tl;dr: Got a new gaming mouse('Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum'), it is fuccing amazing!
Cost me $52+2(for 2-year warranty)USD

I love the scroll wheel for this mouse. It's weighted so you can literally spin and play with it like a fidget spinner lmfao. I had no idea about this feature when I bought it. Also came with a pack of 5 weights that you can add on/take off of different parts of the mouse for more/less weight.
EDIT: Just realized that the button closest to the scroll wheel is lit af. If you press it down(toggle on) it makes the wheel no longer weighted(no more spinny spinny). This is such an awesome feature because I rather not have spinny spinny mode on when browsing HF,Reddit,Web, etc. But for games or now and then while browsing, I can simply toggle it on and SPINNY SPINNY!!
Anyone else have any experience/thoughts on this mouse? Or any questions?

Well glad you like it!.
It's a very well known mouse, we recommend it a lot here in this section.
Very good quality.
Enjoy it!
Had this for a few years and had no problems with it. Pretty sure you can change the glow rate of the 'G' light on the palm of the mouse through the Logitech Gaming Software. The two buttons where your thumb is goes back and forward on web-pages too in case you didn't know.
Good mouse, have it myself as well.
Personally I think its a bit to narrow though. I dont have child hands.
Human stupidity : Buying something they have no clue about, and then ask if they wasted their money.

Great deal u found there. And the mice is good too, atleast not some Razer crap.
Dope! Very good one someday i'll buy it.
It's by far the most comfortable mouse I've owned, but unfortunately, it's too heavy for CSGO, so I switched to G403 for my gaming rig, and now I'm using the G502 at work. 🤝

Best mouse ever, it can probably survive a nuclear war. I purchased 3 of those mouses, one as backup and two others in use and I love them.
Some people dislike the weight/size, but for me it's perfect especially as I'm used to it after using it for so many years

Personally I love the weigh/size. I ended up putting on all 5 of the 3.5g weights and it feels best like this.

A solid mouse for moba and AAA games. I would recommend the G303 instead if you are a competitive gamer (csgo, overwatch, pubg) . Solid grip and has a good sensor.
I've been with Razor and Roccat and it's time for Logitech now. Which one is bigger G303 or G502?
I used to have a G502 Proteus Core and I loved that thing, unfortunately I broke the middle click after a long time of abuse and bought a Corsair M65 instead. I like both mice equally even though The both felt very different in the hand, but I was wondering if anyone knew the difference b/w the old proteus core and the proteus spectrum?

I think realistically, the only change is blue lighting to RGB lighting.
And the blue edge near the thumb is black.

Did the older model have all the 5 3.5g weights in it as well? And same features with scroll-wheel and everything?

The G502 is a great mouse, but I think you might've wasted $2 on the warranty there, completely unnecessary.
All the Logitech I have mice are still working fine.
