If you don't even know how to find vulnerabilities then how in the hell do you think you're going to know how to "hack it"??
I'd recommend you not try to hack your schools website without permission since that's illegal and you seem very inexperienced and will most likely get caught... But with that being said... you can easily see the website is using WordPress, so there's your start.
