ERASE DATA ON PC

Hello guru's
Please I need a software to erase data on my pc with just 1 or 2 clicks.  I'll be glad if I can get few suggestion.

Thank you
Some anti virus programs come with a file destruction tool.

You could try Eraser. It does exactly what you want.

CCleaner seems to be a popular choice as well.

I've always used the one that comes with my anti virus so I can't really tell how good the others are.

Kind regards,

~WT
Not sure if the software is trustworthy, but running without internet should do.
CCleaner, tools, drive wiper
choose wipe entire drive, 35 passes, and select all drives you want to erase.
WARNING:
erasing with 35 passes may take many days but it is more secure than faster methods.
Filemenu tools has an option to shred files.

I believe CCleaner will still have the files stored somewhere on the computer and could possibly be recovered. What I'm looking for is something that can crash the HD immediately and files wont be recoverable or very difficult to recover

Telling you again, neodymium magnets will do the job.

Simple answer. Take your HDD out and smash it to pieces... every fragment of data to enter a HDD can be recovered using recovery programs via windows, even though you format, it doesnt mean the data cannot be retrieved.

Or design a program that will flood your HDD resources and cause it to burn out.
