Am I even using my GPU? integrated one is faster.

I have laptop with integrated graphic card AND with "big perfomance nvidia processor" no chit.

i set default one as nvidia (because default is integrated) and boot time is much slower. not sure about perfomance over all but launching pc with integrated is muuuch fasterrr. it takes 5min more on nvidia card to load up all the autostart programs.

that being said, i also noticed my gpu fan is 0 RPM and i once got it working but it stopped.. lol.. and again at 0. maybe its launching only when i have set nvidia as default and when im playing games on high details - idk. but it today launched for a while on its own, didnt launch since that after i reseted my pc.

so whats the deal? am I even making use of nvidia graphics card? cuz its fan at 0rpm

It’s a laptop, it doesn’t likely have a seperate fan for the graphics chip, it’s soldered to the mainboard and has heat pipes connecting it to the main heatsink which has the cooling fan on it.
it says it has 2 fans. second one doesnt run unless i launch something with nivia processor instead of integrated

Problem is. ITS SLOW! i have everything updated along with vbios, bios, drivers etc and my gtx 960m doesnt launch any serious game without lags, so basically this card is doing nothing for me

What drivesr are you using? And don't fuck with your vbios.

As they said here and in the other thread, messing with a laptop GPU BIOS is really pointless and dangerous.
At this point if you tried to update the vBIOS that could be the cause of your problem...
