A couple months ago, I started learning how to write code. Eventually finding an interest in machine learning. I'm making progress, but I curious if anyone else is interested in topic? It would be great to share ideas and techniques. My biggest obstacle right now is text captcha with overlapping characters.

Well, I'm confident when it comes to solving evenly spaced captcha. I face issues when characters overlap. I looking for techniques, tips or algorithms. The only material I've come across are academic papers, and they don't explain much. I'm open to collaboration and sharing. Ultimately, I would like to provide a set of tools for solving most if not all text based captcha.

The only method of improve your AI is the give it more data.

Find example of the text overlapping itself and give the values.
Not sure if you just forked another project or have actually coded this yourself, as if it's the latter then you should be well equipped to handle overlapping text.
