Simple Grammar Help

"A glass of beer, a Hollywood movie on TV, and inconstant rain bring back that nostalgic mood."

In the above sentence, should it be "bring back" or "brings back"?
"It is a simple logic truth that, short of mass emigration into space, with rockets taking off at the rate of several million per second, uncontrolled birth rates are bound to lead to horribly increased death rates."

- Richard Dawkins (The Selfish Gene)
It should be 'bring' since you're referring to a group of things (plural). For example, you would say "they bring back".

When you're referring to only one thing you would say 'brings'. For example, you would say "that brings back".

Exactly. I am referring to a group, more than 1 things.

That's what I thought too. Thanks, Steve.

I don't know why my friend, George from UK, says that both works.

It's definitely bring without an s since you're referring to more than one thing. Otherwise it sounds silly. Cheers.
