I have decided to disable them for now until I either recode the feature or maybe just never use it again.  It's apparent that it will be abused eventually to the point where it will be a problem. So for now it's disabled and you can only leave 1 rep for a member.  

I sort of liked giving reps from posts though.  I have to think about a better implementation.

Fair decision. Hoping there can be a viable solution to the duplication rep problem.

If in case the posts reputation feature is permanently removed (which I hope not), will the existing post reputations given be deleted?

I like the idea of rep for posts because it can basically be a thanks button to indicate a helpful post with far less BS involved. Shame that mybb is so bad at some things.

Negative or Positive reputation without a fuckin' meaning or any satisfactory reason shouldn't be allowed. It's totally unfair for normal members.
